The sharp remark makes Jakuzure blush heavily, raising her voice as she’s speaking, “I’m saving my first kiss for the right person! I have high standards that needs to be met!”
Getting out of their seats and into a heating argument, Gamagoori and Jakuzure start going back and forth about different kinds of advices, tips, and rules about trying to find a romantic interest. As they’re doing their bickering, Satsuki lets out a chuckle and turns her seat around to get a look at the madness in front of her. She looks at Inumuta and starts asking him.
“You don’t have any interests for yourself, Inumuta?”
“Not at the moment. I’m having too much fun hacking into servers right now.”
“Old habits die hard, don’t they?”
Inumuta chuckles, “Don’t worry, I’m not making stocks crash. I’m just doing it to see information. Is there anything you want some information on?”
“Not now. But I’ll let you know.”
“As you wish.”
Inumuta goes back to typing on his laptop and Satsuki casually overlooks everybody, her eyes darting back and forth between people. As she’s watching, a pair of footsteps approach her.
His suit neatly pressed and ironed, not a single fold out of place, every strand of gray hair is in place, Satsuki’s personal butler, Mitsuzo Soroi walks out holding a tray of tea. He gives Satsuki her cup, then places the tray with the remaining cups on the small table by the couches. He then walks back up the stairs and stands patiently next to Satsuki.
“Is everything the way you like it, Miss Satsuki?”
“Yes it is, Soroi. Your tea’s exquisite as always.”
“Thank you.”
Satsuki takes a sip of her tea and lets out a small sigh.
“Is something the matter?”
“It’s nothing. It’s just refreshing to have simple squabbles and bickering. I’ve had to keep everything together for far too long. I can finally relax.”
“You do seem more relaxed than usual. A lot of pressure is finally lifted off of your shoulders.”
“Do I?”
Soroi gives a small nod. Satsuki looks at her tea for a moment, and then looks back at Soroi, “Aside from taking down Ragyo, I finally know what happened to my once thought dead sister. That was easily one of the biggest pressures I had to deal with. And now that I know where and who she is, all I can do is think about trying to connect with her.”
