Sanageyama sits down in the seat next to Inumuta and props his feet up on the table, “So, what did I miss?”
“Nothing important. Just Gamagoori and Jakuzure giving each other dating advice.”
“It seemed more like an argument than anything.”
“Exactly.”
Sanageyama inches closer to try and watch Inumuta’s laptop monitor. Standing at the table, Ryuko looks around for an open seat, but the student council took up all of the available spots.
“Looks like we’re out of seats, Mako.”
No response. Ryuko looks next to her and notices Mako sitting on Gamagoori’s lap; Mako waves at Ryuko.
“I got my seat!”
Ryuko gives Mako a confused, then looks toward the back of the room at Satsuki.
“I hope you didn’t intentionally plan for me to sit on your lap?”
“I have no issues with it if that’s what you’re implying. We’re sisters after all.”
Ryuko mumbles under her breath, “Damn, she still has that resolve thing down packed.”
Satsuki smiles at Ryuko and asks Soroi to get another seat from the back; he quickly returns and brings a black swiveling chair out, putting next to Satsuki.
“There’s an extra seat up here, if you don’t mind sitting next to me.”
Ryuko blushes a bit before walking to the seat, “We’re sisters after all.”
Ryuko takes a seat next to Satsuki and takes a moment to get herself adjusted. She turns it and faces Satsuki directly.
“Hey.”
“Hey.”
After a small moment of silence, Ryuko and Satsuki both chuckle and start having their own conversation. Everybody in the room is enjoying somebody’s company, whether they’re talking about common interest, discussing the events of the last few weeks, or just mindless talking. For Jakuzure however, she’s looking at everybody talking with somebody: Gamagoori and Mako, Sanageyama and Inumuta, and Ryuko and Satsuki. When she looks at Satsuki, her eyes stayed glued on her.
As the sisters are talking, Satsuki has a constant smile on her face, letting out a laugh whenever she finds something funny. The more Jakuzure watches, the more her body begins to heat up. She can feel her heart pounding harder than normal, her hands becoming sweaty, and her breathing becoming a bit heavier.
I’ve never seen you smile so much. I know you had to stay in character for such a long time, but I don’t remember being able to make you smile so hard like you are now… And to her! Why are you smiling so much just from her?! I knew you first!
