Most people are stuck at a dead-end job that they want little to do with during their working hours. They just clock-in, do what they need to do for the day, and clock-out when it’s time. They don’t really care about anything else.
But no matter where you go, there’s always that one coworker that complains just to complain. There’s nothing they can do about the matter, and yet they continue to complain.
And that can easily get under a person’s skin…
The day dragged on for what felt like a lifetime, the hands on the clock moving everso slowly. People say that the trick is to not look at the clock and time will go faster, but after not looking at it for what I believe was three hours, turns out to be only seven minutes.
A deep sign rang across the storeroom, echoing for a moment, and a voice followed, “This shit fucking sucks, bro. Why are we even here?”
My gaze shifted from the clock and looked at the nearby table, seeing my coworker resting his head.
