My Young One (Part Twelve) [18+]

It’s been some time since I’ve first met Anna, since she first came up to me at the bus stop. Naturally I was hesitant about her wanting to help me out; I still consider what would have happened if I never got into her car to drive me to school. The general rule is to never get into a car with somebody you don’t know. But there was something about Anna that pulled me in…

Just from looking at her outward appearance, I instantly knew she lived a lavish and luxurious lifestyle. From sitting in the passenger seat of her luxury-grade car, having a private outdoors dining table at the Italian restaurant, and seeing the number out designer outfits she wears for casual outings, Anna is a woman who already has everything in the world she could possibly want. And if she didn’t, she knew how to get it.

My Young One (Part Four) [18+]

I turned the key and unlocked the front door, heading right into my apartment. As I took off my stiletto heels and left them on the shoe mat, I noticed the pair of black dress shoes haphazardly tossed onto it. Even doing something so basic as keeping his shoes organized and neat seemed too much of a hassle for him.

Rolling my eyes, I sorted out the shoes before walking along the wooden floors down to the living room, “If you’re going to continue to live here for the time being, the least you can do is keep my home clean.”

I didn’t bother staying for a reply, I just continued on and headed into the kitchen. My nose quickly picked up the wafting scent of burned bread and an abundance of oregano. I walked over to the stove and saw a collection of opened pots, sauce stains, and an empty box of spaghetti noodles on the counter.

100 Word Story – It’s Just Business (Finale)

The successful life of a busy business woman is no easy task to achieve. From having to spend hours, sometimes days at a time running on little to no sleep to make sure things got done, making tough decisions in order to better improve your status, and even vanishing from your social life for just a little bit, I was able to create the lifestyle that I wanted. Being able to sit on my ass all day, doing nothing while the money just rolls in.

I know it sounds shady and even a bit ignorant, but don’t we all dream of working so hard that one day our income just starts to increase on its own? Besides, it’s not like I just sit around every day literally doing nothing.

I still have to deal with meetings and such like a regular boss.

100 Word Story – Service, Please! (Finale)

Service, please.”

The two waiters standing in front of the order counter picked up their respective serving trays and went into the sea of dining tables and hungry patrons. I took a brief moment to catch my breath and wipe the few drips of sweat from my forehead.

Christ,” I mumbled, “We’re really in the shits today.”

In the middle of my few seconds of peace, another waiter approached the counter and handed me two more ticket orders. Undoing the top button of my chef jacket to let some air out, I faced the kitchen and read out the orders to my staff.

New orders in, listen up.”

Every person kept at their stations, cooking orders and preparing the dozens of incoming meals, as I read off the tickets. It was lively both inside and out the kitchen, everybody on their toes and working like a well-oiled machine. Dishes were leaving the kitchen at a rapid pace, compliments from satisfied customers came back in droves, and everything had a whiff of delicious food. This was the peak performance of my crew.

But tonight was a different story.

100 Word Story – Babysitting (Finale)

Don’t we all just love children? Aren’t they just the greatest bundle of joy, bringing happiness everywhere they go with their laughter and bubbly attitudes? Geez, aren’t they just… some of the most annoying things on the planet?

All they do is make loud noise, screaming at the top of their lungs for no apparent reason, running around the house in a mad dash chasing something that they made up? I mean, who the hell can have so much fun running after something that doesn’t exist?

They only thing that makes babysitting a kid doable is giving me enough cash to put up with it, and even then it needs to be a nice amount.

Kids suck.
