Kill la Kill: Season R – Chapter Two: New School, New Resolve

Jakuzure changes topic and cuts straight to the point, “So, what do you want?”

Sanageyama takes one of his hands out of his pocket and points towards the door, “Lady Satsuki’s outside having lunch over by the entrance, with Matoi and that friend of hers.”

Outside? What’s she doing eating lunch among the school? Especially with Ryuko?!

The thought of Ryuko being around Satsuki quickly ignites a rage inside of Jakuzure, but she manages to keep it under control for the moment; she simply slams her fist on the ground and grinds her teeth. Sanageyama raises his eyebrows when he notices Jakuzure’s reaction to his announcement.

“You alright? Seems like you got a grudge against somebody.”

Keeping her image in tact, Jakuzure cross her legs and folds her arms before answering, “You wouldn’t understand, Monkey.”

“If it’s a grudge, I’m sure I’d be able to understand. And I would know how to help: challenge them to a sparing match.”

“How is a sparing match suppose to help?”

“Think about it. You get to prove your more skilled than the other person through physical ability.” Sanageyama shrugs before adding on, “At least, that’s an easy way to think about it.”

Jakuzure takes his thinking in mind. She jumps down from the stage and walks over to the door, taking a look outside.

The expansive school courtyard is filled with people walking around, many of them in company with others. Over in a far off corner near the entrance, she can easily see Satsuki sitting on a bench with Ryuko and Mako at her sides; all three of them are laughing, but it seems like Ryuko and Satsuki are making more eye contact personally.

Out of habit, Jakuzure clenches her first and slams it into the side of the gym door. She turns around and glares at Sanageyama, “Show me how to use that kendo stick you use!”

“You mean my Shinai?”

“Yeah, whatever it’s called!”

I’m going to beat Ryuko’s ass and prove that I’m the one Satsuki should be focusing on!

Finishing her entire lunch in a matter of seconds Mako lets out a loud, relived sigh and pats her stomach. She stretches out a bit in her seat on the bench, “Man, Mom’s lunch is the best! I can’t eat any more.” She then belches and her stomach starts growling, “Wait, I can eat more.”

Satsuki leans forward a bit to get a look at Mako before bringing her attention back to Ryuko, “Does she always eat like this?”
