100 Word Story – Stress Reliever (Part One)

The cries of the crows signaled the end of the day, the sun beginning its slow descent behind the horizon. The city’s inhabitants were finishing up their business in town, gathering around and crowding the train stations and bus stops to go home. Luckily for Mizue, she managed to find a seat as soon as the train doors opened.

Letting her shoulders drop, Mizue let out a mental sigh, trying to forget about the stress from the office, the gentle rocking of the moving train easing her mind.

I need a vacation from that place, too much pressure on me.
