Do you remember when you were young and all of the children on the playground would play simple games of “Truth or Dare?” Do you remember that one kid who everybody teased all because he or she was so easily frightened?
Did you ever have to do a dare that made you quake in your shoes? Made you run away crying? Perhaps urinate out of fear?
Well, today was young Shane’s turn to do a dare. And it’s all because he couldn’t keep his timid mouth shut.
“It got it, it got me! Somebody, help!”
The boys watched in fright as Shane was lifted off of the ground by his head.
This entire time all of the school students thought that “The Door” was nothing but a stupid rumor. Nobody knew how it started, they only knew about the shed.
They never knew about what waited in silence on the other side of that aged door.
The boys didn’t know what to do. Should they run in and save Shane? What about run away with one child missing? It was all suppose to be a simple dare.
