Everything was spinning around me, nothing wanted to stay still. My head throbbed with a fiery intensity, and my body was stiff as cement. A faint bright light was trying to break through my eye lids, bringing me out of my dreams.
However, it seemed like I awoke from a dream and entered a nightmare. Through a sliver of sight, I caught a glimpse of where I was. Mirrors all around me, all of them with the same image.
Me. On every mirror. Trapped.
“It would be beneficial if you didn’t try to struggle yourself free.”
I heard a deep voice speaking in the distance. I quickly scanned around the room, but I didn’t catch a glimpse of anybody else—it was nothing but glass mirrors for walls. My reflection was in clear view, an image of me dressed in a patient’s gown while lying down on a hospital bed.
I naturally began to panic, “What the hell is going on?”
“You’ll learn soon enough,” the voice answered, “in due time. Just you wait, dear.”
The voice vanished and the sound of footsteps followed.
