100 Word Story – Mirrored Walls (Part Three)

Everything was spinning around me, nothing wanted to stay still. My head throbbed with a fiery intensity, and my body was stiff as cement. A faint bright light was trying to break through my eye lids, bringing me out of my dreams.

However, it seemed like I awoke from a dream and entered a nightmare. Through a sliver of sight, I caught a glimpse of where I was. Mirrors all around me, all of them with the same image.

Me. On every mirror. Trapped.

My heart wanted to escape from my chest, pounding away at my rib cage. However, no matter how hard or intense the beats were, it would never break free.

And I would have been the same way if I didn’t try and escape this room.

Struggling through the pain, enduring the torture, I managed to roll myself off of the bed and into the floor. I went crashing onto my side, making my arm wince even more. I had to bite my lip to stop myself from crying.

Mustering all of my strength, I managed to get onto my feet.
