Don’t we all just love children? Aren’t they just the greatest bundle of joy, bringing happiness everywhere they go with their laughter and bubbly attitudes? Geez, aren’t they just… some of the most annoying things on the planet?
All they do is make loud noise, screaming at the top of their lungs for no apparent reason, running around the house in a mad dash chasing something that they made up? I mean, who the hell can have so much fun running after something that doesn’t exist?
They only thing that make babysitting a kid doable is giving me enough cash to put up with it, and even then it needs to be a nice amount.
Kids suck.
“Thank you for watching Johnny for us while we go out, Gina. We really appreciate you doing this.”
Gina waved her hand, smiling, “It’s no trouble, Mrs. Lombardi. I didn’t really have much planned tonight anyways.”
Mr. Lombardi reached into his wallet and pulled out a collection of large bills. Gina’s eyes quickly counted up the total before Mr. Lombardi could even hand her the money.
“I hope this will be enough for the night?” Mr. Lombardi asked.
Gina smirked, folding the money and putting it in her back jean pocket, “This will do just fine. Go enjoy yourselves tonight.”
