100 Word Story – Babysitting (Part Two)

Don’t we all just love children? Aren’t they just the greatest bundle of joy, bringing happiness everywhere they go with their laughter and bubbly attitudes? Geez, aren’t they just… some of the most annoying things on the planet?

All they do is make loud noise, screaming at the top of their lungs for no apparent reason, running around the house in a mad dash chasing something that they made up? I mean, who the hell can have so much fun running after something that doesn’t exist?

Her tranquility quickly came to a halt when she heard a loud thud coming from a few feet away. She paused for a moment to see if anything would happen. As she was about to go back to reading a child screamed out.

“Here comes Dwight Macintosh!”
