Senran Kagura: Ninja Mishaps – Milk & Mixtures

There are no signs of something moving around in it, like a possible remnant of an ingredient used to make it. She brings it back down and brings it close to her nose, hoping to pick up an aroma.

“Scentless. You’re giving me trouble, aren’t you?”

She puts the beaker back on the desk and puts her hands on her hips, keeping her eyes set on the beaker.

“The only thing left is ingesting it, but I would never test my own creations on myself. Sadly, there’s nobody here right now.”

Left with no other options, Haruka lets out a small sigh and shrugs, shaking her head.

“I guess I’ll have to put you to the side for now. That’s probably how I forgot about you in the first place.”

Further inside the hideout, Haruka can hear somebody yawning, followed by the curtain moving; she turns around to see who else is here.

Although all of the members of the Crimson Squad are well into their teenage years and dress as such, one member is stuck wearing childish clothing; a pink tank top with a bright yellow star design in the middle and a lighter pink camisole underneath with a pastel blue skirt and white knee-socks. Her long black hair reaches down her back with evenly cut bangs that reach just above her eye and the black and red eye patch on the left.

Noticing her partner and friend, Haruka greets her with a motherly tone.

“Hello there, Mirai. I didn’t know you were still here.”

Rubbing her eye and yawning again, Homura’s Crimson Squad member Mirai tiredly replies.

“I was napping. I was up all night trying to work on Rapunzel again. It’s been a while since I updated it.”

“You’re dedicated to you work, aren’t you? It’s a good trait to have.”

Mirai gives a small shrug and walks through the hideout, heading towards the fridge. She goes into it and pulls out a small water bottle.

“Do you have anything planned for the day, Mirai?”

Mirai twists off the cap and starts drinking.

“No, not really. I was just gonna lounge around today, maybe surf online for a little while.”

Haruka watches Mirai for a moment, then looks back at the beaker on the desk; her eyes widen and a smile comes to her face when something comes to mind.

If you’re not doing anything, perhaps I can use you for a little while.
