The boys toughed through the snowy field, boarding all over and leaving their trails in the powdery scenery. With the skies clear and the winds still, they felt the thrill and rush of snowboarding across the arctic shelf.
However, they wanted an even bigger thrill, something that would surely put their names down in history as some of the biggest daredevils to have ever lived.
When they reached the bottom of the latest mountain they’ve conquered, they found a giant crack in the ground.
Donny patiently sat on his snowboard as he watched Rafael blazing down the snowy mountainside. Curving, speeding, and perfectly balanced, Rafael made sure he was in the best position to jump across the crevasse. The bottom of the mountain was quickly closing in, and he had to make sure he was ready.
Seeing a small snow ramp coming up, Rafael bit his lip with excitement, “I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna do it!”
Although his friend was eager to prove him wrong, Donny slowly came to accept the fact that his friend was more than likely going to fail. “Dumbass.”
