The boys toughed through the snowy field, boarding all over and leaving their trails in the powdery scenery. With the skies clear and the winds still, they felt the thrill and rush of snowboarding across the arctic shelf.
However, they wanted an even bigger thrill, something that would surely put their names down in history as some of the biggest daredevils to have ever lived.
When they reached the bottom of the latest mountain they’ve conquered, they found a giant crack in the ground.
“I’ll be honest with you, Rafael, but you’re extremely lucky to still be alive. Your spine snapped in multiple places.”
The doctor finished up his medical report before leaving Donny and Rafael in the room. Donny watched as the doctor walked away, closing the door behind him. When he heard the click of the door Donny slowly turned back around, a bright, smug grin flashing across his mouth.
With his head locked in place by medical equipment Rafael could only roll his eyes when he saw Donny’s face. “Don’t fucking say it.”
Donny ignored his friend, “I was right, bitch.”
