Don’t we all just love children? Aren’t they just the greatest bundle of joy, bringing happiness everywhere they go with their laughter and bubbly attitudes? Geez, aren’t they just… some of the most annoying things on the planet?
All they do is make loud noise, screaming at the top of their lungs for no apparent reason, running around the house in a mad dash chasing something that they made up? I mean, who the hell can have so much fun running after something that doesn’t exist?
They only thing that makes babysitting a kid doable is giving me enough cash to put up with it, and even then it needs to be a nice amount.
The closet was open, a collection of children’s clothes taking up the space. Gina pushed everything aside and couldn’t find Johnny hiding inside. She kept looking in various spots in his bedroom—underneath his bed, behind his toy box, inside his pile of stuffed animals—and couldn’t find him anywhere.
“Where the hell did this twerp go?” she mumbled as she left his bedroom.
As she started making her way down the second floor hallway, she heard Johnny making some weird sounds, including a fake explosion. She quickly picked up on it and headed for Mr. and Mrs. Lombardi’s bedroom.
