Senran Kagura: Ninja Mishaps – Ramen and Boobage

With the sound of kitchenware clashing in the background, Katsuragi sits up to get a look at what’s going on behind her; Ikaruga is swiftly moving around the tiny area, mixing, slicing, and preparing ingredients. Seeing what’s going on, Katsuragi lays back down.

Ikaruga’s just cooking. Wait… Ikaruga’s cooking…”

Katsuragi jumps to her feet and starts panicking. Her face fills with fright and she starts pacing back and forth.

Ikaruga’s cooking! That explains why she was asking me things about how I like my ramen!

She goes over to the sushi station and slides into one of the seats, leaning on the counter. As she’s speaking to Ikaruga, Katsuragi’s voice trembles a bit, unknown of what’s being made.

H-Hey, Ikaruga. W-W-What are you making?”

When you brought up the idea of ramen, I figured I’d try to take those flavors and make it into a special sushi roll. It’s been a while since I was creative in the kitchen.”

Because the chance of it coming out good is one in a thousand…”

What was that?”

N-Nothing!”

Ikaruga looks up from her cutting board, for a moment, then looks back at her board. Katsuragi leans over the counter to try and get a look, but Ikaruga gently pushes her head back.

No peeking. You need to wait until it’s finished.”

I was hoping to see what’s gonna kill me before I have to bite into it…

Awaiting her fate, Katsuragi sinks down in her seat, keeping her eyes stuck on the counter.

I need to find a way to get out of this.

Katsuragi closes her eyes and folds her arms, trying to think of a believable excuse for leaving the room.

Oh, it looks like I’m out of seaweed. Katsuragi, I’ll be right back. I’m going to check in the culinary room for more seaweed.”

Yeah, sure.”

Ikaruga cleans up her work area before coming from behind the sushi station and heading to the sliding door that leads out of the room.

Make sure to keep an eye on the noodles for me. They should be done really soon.”
