I’ve finally reached my goal: The Black Void. I’ve traveled far and endured much, but I’m finally here. As much as I would like to avoid this incident, I sadly do now have a choice.
I must endure just a bit further before I can retire and retreat to my simple resting place.
I will make sure my engravings will not be in vain.
Armed with my white stick of power, I engrave sacred markings on it, moving as fast as I can. I can’t stand being in front of here.
Alexis is the breadwinner in the relationship, while Samantha is the loving housewife making sure Alexis makes it out of the house on time every day for work. After a long night, Alexis surprisingly misses her alarm and has to rush to work before she gets caught for being late.
We get to learn about one of Alexis’ co-workers who she has to deal with during the struggle of the normal 9-to-5 office job. Fortunately, her co-workers have a nice sense of humor.
I spit out my toothbrush and look down at Sam, my face blushing red from both surprise and embarrassment, “What the hell are you doing?!”
“Helping you get dressed.”
“I can get dressed on my own. I don’t need help putting on clothes.”
Most people don’t always like to go into work on a daily basis. However, many do it because they have responsibilities, or just like having money to spend for things they like.
Regardless, there’s one thing that every job has in common no matter what kind of profession it is: they all have that one guy nobody likes.
Shaun’s own bitterness came back to strike with vengeance for those who suffered by his hand.
Nature’s always a pretty sight to behold. Catching it during the perfect moment can inspire anybody to just take a moment and think about certain memories about loved ones.
Relaxing in the daily sunset, watching the orange sun passing across the horizon is a photograph worth thousands of words. It’s even the perfect time to joke around.
“… Are you high, Rebecca? Because you sound so high right now.”
Patrick and I decided that tonight we should go out to get some drinks. After a long week inside of the office, staring at computer monitors all day, there’s no better way to unwind than to get drunk and go on long, endless rambles.
I expected that we would both have some of the usual wife tales and stories about our shitty childhood, but I felt like I was the one who learned something new tonight.
Patrick was more than just a muscle head.
Patrick lifted his shoulder to get a better look at his tattoo. It was a simple, but highly detailed depiction of a yin-yang symbol done with one fish being the white part and another fish for the black.
“Oh, this old thing? It’s nothing special.”
Many romance novels and stories often have a forbidden love feature: a Romeo and Juliet style situation that prevents the two lovers from ever truly showing their affection. Some end in tragedy and some get the happy finale that was expected.
Regardless, if there’s a forming bond between two and they’re both willing to go to secret lengths to keep the relationship alive, then it was meant to be. Same goes for a bond between a student and their teacher.
As much as I should be panicking right now, I’m completely calm; I know who grabbed me.
“Took you long enough, Kyouko.”
Ever imagined what it would be like to have your very own talking bird a a pet? Having a nice little talking buddy with you in a room?
Now, what if instead of a bird, it was a Harpy that was roughly the size of a teenager and instead of talking, needed you for a favor? But hey, a Harpy is a kind of bird.
“Wait, are you sure that this is a good idea?”
“It’s the best idea I can think of right now. Obviously, if I was in a better situation, I wouldn’t be asking you do this for me.”
Most of the time when people come home from work, they want to take a moment to kick back and relax, maybe watch some T.V or read a good book. That’s normal.
Having to save your girlfriend from some kind of “creature” that tried to kill her? That’s not normal. But hey, things happen.
No response again. Maybe Sam stepped out to go somewhere? But even if she did, she would text me or something just letting me know if she wouldn’t be home by the time I get off from work. What the hell is going on?
When it’s time for a person to focus on their education, it’s normal for them to turn to those ahead of them, their upperclassmen, in a time of need. Occasionally, they will slowly form a bond after repeated instances of meeting each other.
The same goes for girls; they’ll rely on one another. But sometimes, the upperclassmen will want to protect and learn more about their underlings, potentially wanting something more meaningful.
Everybody deserves for find affection and love.
“I noticed you the day I first saw you eating alone during our lunch break.”
Samantha decides to do some more cleaning around the house while Alexis is out at work, but somehow ends up finding herself on the wrong side of the tracks. She finds a few new things, one of them putting her into a hysterical rage.
What did she find that made her go crazy and run?
This little bastard snuck its way out of the box, moved through the field of wooden train tracks, and decided to make itself comfortable right on top of my hand.
Some people find entertainment in cleaning with all of the washing and the dusting and the fresh smells left behind. Some have special methods to get it done. Sam’s one of those people.
When she doesn’t have the tools she needs however, she gets a little lazy and abandons the idea of cleaning for the day.
“Where the hell did I put my scrub brush skates?!”
A bond between females can appear many different ways to a person’s eye. It may seem strictly platonic and rooted in a deep friendship, while sometimes it may appear like a sisterly bond as if they were blood relatives. Then there’s the case where the relationship may seem one way, but is entirely something else behind closed doors.
The public appearance between females may hide away a deeper connection that stays strictly between them.
“Can’t you see I’m trying to get some sleep?”
“C’mon, it’s too early to be sleeping!”
